Rosie Verma

YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Rosie (Madhu) Verma is a Certified Radiant Child Yoga Instructor and Kundalini Yoga Teacher passionate about bringing the joy of movement, mindfulness, and self-expression to children and families. With a teaching career that began in 2016, Rosie has dedicated herself to creating playful and nurturing spaces where kids can explore yoga in a way that feels natural, empowering, and fun.

Born and raised in India, Rosie moved to Newfoundland in 1992, where she lived on the West Coast for 33 years before recently settling in St. John’s. Her deep cultural roots and lifelong love of learning inspire her approach, blending traditional yoga teachings with modern, engaging techniques to meet each child exactly where they are.

Rosie’s Yoga Kid sessions are designed for all levels and abilities, offering a vibrant mix of Hatha poses, breathing techniques, songs, stories, games, and relaxation practices. Every class is a unique experience, helping children build physical strength, emotional resilience, focus, and self-confidence—all while having a lot of fun.

Beyond her classes, Rosie believes in the transformative power of yoga as a tool for lifelong well-being. She is passionate about making yoga accessible to young people, nurturing their natural curiosity and guiding them to connect with themselves and the world around them in positive, meaningful ways.

When she’s not teaching, Rosie continues to deepen her own practice and is always exploring new ways to bring creativity, mindfulness, and movement into everyday life.
